I’m honored to have received 47 percent of the vote in the race to represent District 4 on the San Antonio City Council. I’d like to congratulate all of the candidates for their willingness to focus on addressing our District’s needs. Thanks to your support, we’ve made the runoff, and now we’re in the homestretch. With your continued support, we’ll win the runoff election on June 8. I hope I can count on your vote once again.

I’ve lived in District 4 for 35 years. Why? Because it’s a vibrant community with fantastic potential to be an economic driver for San Antonio. Our city is projected to gain one million residents in the next twenty years. The district features many assets capable of bringing transformative development and job creation. Your support on June 8 will ensure that District 4 shares in this growth.

“Dr. Garcia is a tireless worker who understands the needs of our district,” said outgoing District 4 Council Member Rey Saldaña. “Her strong leadership makes her a powerful advocate for our district. I fully endorse her historic candidacy that will make her the first woman elected to represent District 4.”

Dr. Garcia has also been endorsed by the San Antonio Police Officers Association; the San Antonio AFL-CIO; the San Antonio Apartment Association; and the Sierra Club.
